I have a fresh look for the website: Whatcom Waterscapes. There were several motivating factors for the new update:
First, I have been studying css and wanted to use some of the new info I have learned. It has been a while since I jumped into the css code for properly validating sites and I wanted to test out a few things.
Second Due to unforseen circumstances, I had to clean up the old site.
It was built with a template and I wasn’t really sure where the images originated. So, I removed all the images, which effectively broke the look of the site.
The reason for removing the images is more complicated, and I will have to devote another blog to that.
We are entering into a new year soon, and it seems a good time to start fresh.
The links on the new site are pretty rudimentary, but it is a good framework to start a fresh bold new look. I love that I can change the look of the site in styles and leave the content alone. That’s all for now.
